Candace Candace comes to Las Vegas from Toronto, Canada. She will be starting UNLV this fall and joins us a Computer Lab Assistant. She plans to study Computer Science. Candace is interested in music as well and plays the violin, guitar and ukulele. In her free time she likes to draw and play video games. CC CC is from Korea and is currently studying Elementary Education. She loves meeting new people, making small talk, and tending to her roses. Gabriel "Gabo" Gabriel is a native of Las Vegas, joining the Writing Center this semester. He is an undergraduate studying Computer Science. His literature interests range from Lord of the Rings to Game of Thrones. Additionally, he has a lot of musical talent, playing guitar, violin, piano, and ukulele. Oliver Oliver is from Big Bear Lake, CA and is a Physics/Honors major. His favorite author is Franz Kafka and he likes “the feeling you get when you finish a story and you find the way you look at the world has changed.” He is interested in philosophy and asking questions, but finds himself watching Netflix way more than he should. Raquel "Rocks" Raquel is originally from San Franciso, CA and is currently studying Psychology at UNLV. Before joining the Writing Center she tutored English language learners in Clark County. She enjoys volleyball, kayaking, and swimming. |
