ENG 102 & 114 Write-in -- Tues./Wed. April 17 & 18

UNLV ENG 102 & ENG 114 Write-In!     

Tuesday, April 17th, 3:00pm-7:00pm      
Wednesday, April 18th, 9:00am-1:00pm   
Held in Lied Library Amargosa Room   

An open lab for ENG 102 & 114 students. Librarians and writing consultants will be present to help you with writing and research.     Free snacks and coffee!   
 
Registration is recommended, but not required. 

Friday, April 13th -- Graduate Workshop!

Join the UNLV Writing Center for the following graduate workshop:  

Avoiding Plagiarism  
1:00pm-2:30pm, SRWC 1010  
Writers will learn the definitions associated with documentation: plagiarism, annotation, citation, direct quote, summary, and paraphrase. They will also practice identifying inadvertent plagiarism in their own writing and learn skills for advanced paraphrasing.  


This workshop is open to all graduate students and faculty/staff.  
Registration is recommended, but not required.

English 114 Write-In! -- April 4th & 5th

The Writing Center will be hosting two write-ins specifically for students enrolled in English 114. The write-ins will be held in the Dayton South Residence Hall conference room on Wednesday, 4/4, from 10 AM- 12 PM and on Thursday, 4/5, from 1 PM- 3 PM. Come chat with our consultants and receive feedback on your writing assignments!
